Nadal’s Wimbledon Odds Offering Tremendous Value

Wimbledon Odds Favor Djokovic But Can Nadal Win?

Novak Djokovic has -175 odds to win the Wimbledon.
Rafael Nadal’s Wimbledon odds are at +700.

LONDON – The 2022 Wimbledon Tournament is just under one month out and some could argue that there is controversy in the odds. That comes as Novak Djokovic is listed as the heavy favorite to win while Rafael Nadal sits well behind with the third shortest odds.

Djokovic currently sits below even at -125 whereas legal online betting sites have Nadal’s odds are seeing some tremendous value at +700 where a $100 bet would cash out $700.

Wimbledon 2022 Odds To Win

Novak Djokovic -125
Carlos Alcaraz Garfia +450
Rafael Nadal +700
Matteo Berrettini +1000
Alexander Zverev +1200
Denis Shapovalov +1200
Stefanos Tsitsipas +1200
Felix Auger Aliassime +1400

By no means is fading Djokovic an easy move, especially in Wimbledon where he’s won the last three tournaments. However, Nadal has been playing at an elite level since the start of the ATP season compared to Djokovic.

In the current ATP season, Djokovic has gotten off to a 16-5 start with no major wins. As for Nadal though, he is leading the way with a 90.9%-win rate at a 30-3 record which includes his second Australian Open championship and his 14th French Open victory in the last 20 years. Both of which came at +400 tennis odds or more.

Aside from his two major wins, Nadal has also come out on top in the Melbourne Summer Set and the Mexican Open meaning he won his first three tournaments of the hard-court season.

Nadal Vs. Djokovic Head To Head

If the two were to cross paths in Wimbledon, it would surely come down to the wire based on their history. Djokovic is currently leading the series 30-29, however, Nadal not only won their last meeting at the French Open, but has come out on top in four of their last six meetings since 2019.

All in all, Nadal is steaming hot right now and has been taking down everyone in his path making his third shortest odds easily the most valuable of any on the board. Especially considering that he can pull off a grand slam.
